Hallo, hab die Aqara Gardienen Motoren zwar nicht bei Amazon gekauft da sie woanders günstiger waren aber meine Erfahrung ist wie immer Positiv.

Vielleicht hilft es den ein oder anderen!!

Ich habe 2 Motoren für 3 Meter lange Vorhänge.
Wie man auf den Bildern sieht u- Profil typisch Deutsch.

Ich hab die Röllchen doppelt, also 2 zusammen gemacht damit die Vorhänge nicht so extrem am u- profil putzen.

Motoren habe ich direkt an die ersten 2 Röllchen mit der Gardine zusammen gemacht.

Also Motoren Hacken direkt am Röllchen einhacken.

Wichtig ist das die Röllchen an der Gardine mit ca 10cm Abstand zum nächsten Röllchen befestigt wird!

In meinen ersten Versuch hatte ich Regel Komfort in jede Öse ein Röllchen, das brachte den Motor ins stottern und der öffnete sich nicht komplett.

Also versuch 2 : in ca 10cm Abstand immer ein Röllchen angebracht und siehe da der Motor bzw beide öffnen und schließen jetzt ohne sich einen abzubrechen.

Danach mit Homekit verbunden, und was soll ich sagen einfach super.

Fijn dat gordijnen tijdens vakantie open en dicht gaan. Hierdoor lijkt het alsof er mensen thuis zijn.

It does not fit my rod and even if it would, the motor would be bending the rod and would struggle to go up the rod bent when approaching corners.

Otherwise: easy to setup, app is good, connects to the hub very quickly. A bit expensive, depends if you get a discount.

I have this operating x2 18' curtains on our 2 storey high windows. It's been working great for 2 months now, batteries just below 95%, opens and closes once a day with the automation.

The curtain rod needs to be solid for this to work, in my case I just used 1" EMT

If you follow the instructions correctly, this thing works well.

For the Rod version specifically that meant that I had to buy a non-extending rod so that the diameter is the same across the entire rod and it needed to be within the 25-32mm (0.98 to 1.26 inches) diameter range exactly. I bought something on Amazon called "BlastHome® Non-Adjustable Luxury Curtain Rods for Windows, 1 ¼” Rod Set" which is 1.25 inches, so at the upper limit of what the E1 supports.

I have one on a 7 foot rod and one on a 4.5 foot rod, both opening the entire width from left to right rather than being two per rod and opening in the middle. It's better that way for the blackout blinds. On the 7 foot rod i have 4 times 52 inch wide panels and it has no problem pushing and pulling them.

The little rubber strip included in the box is essential to making it work because it keeps the folds close enough so that the grommet doesn't go sideways and block the movement. It's not the most elegant solution with the plastic clips but it does work and if you put them close enough they sort of hide away in the folds of the curtain. I'm sure you could sew them into the material directly instead of using the clips for a more seamless solution.

I'm running Home Assistant with a Conbee II Zigbee usb key and it paired right away, just hold the button for a few seconds and enable joining.

I'm triggering them in the morning and evening with a little 6 button zigbee remote I have and I timed the blinds to have the automation start the bigger blind first and then start the smaller one exactly when needed so they finish at the same time, in either direction.

If you know what you're doing, this thing is good. Be careful though, I ordered 3 at first and two of them were clearly used. One was missing the rubber strip and the other was missing the rubber strip and the clips.

Lies sich gut in Zigbee2mqtt integrieren und öffnet und schiesst den Vorhang einer Edelstahlmetallstande mit mindestdicke zuverlässig. Ich bin happy!

Just to say that these have been faultless since purchase. Used direct with Home Assistant without Aqara Hub. A little noisy but it is what it is, I use them in my living room so not really disturbed by them moving. I wouldn't use them in the bedroom...no noise happens in there anymore. What prompted my to review is the battery life! I charged them on 11 July 23 and only now they require charging again, 04 Aug 25. I have fairly heavy curtains that operate twice a day. Phenomenal. Would definitely buy more but I have blinds everywhere else in the house.

Este controlador para cortinas ha sido una gran compra. La instalación es sencilla y en pocos minutos estaba integrado con HomeKit. La respuesta es rápida, el motor es silencioso y permite programar aperturas y cierres automáticos sin problemas.

La compatibilidad con Siri y la app Casa es perfecta, pudiendo controlar las cortinas con la voz o desde el móvil. Además, la construcción se nota de buena calidad. Totalmente recomendable si buscas domotizar tus cortinas sin complicaciones.

Tun was sie tun sollen. Die 5 Sterne sind eigentlich 4,5 weil die Einrichtung minimal einfacher sein könnte, aber wenn es läuft, läuft es. Die Einbindung in Homekit ist perfekt, Automationen laufen ohne Fehl und Tadel. Auf, zu, auf, zu, es ist magisch ;)

Took off a star because you need a separate hub to connect for Google,Alexa support. I got this as the other brand can’t handle the extension rods and would get stuck. This works a good 90% of the time but does require you to use some included parts and I added some tape to make the lip of the extension less of an issue.

It is quiet enough not to wake me at 5am for the scheduled closing of the blackout curtains.

Installation facile , fonctionnement parfait

We have two panels of really light weight curtains on a 1-in bar. The eyelets catch in such a way they bind and make it difficult for the unit to motor. The provided clips helped quite a bit but still has difficulty. I will try ordering some Teflon tape to see if that helps.

Je dois dire que j'ai eu du mal à trouver un rail compatible avec ce moteur, mais j'y suis finalement parvenu. Le moteur est un peu bruyant, mais en fin de compte, je ne l'utilise que deux fois par jour.

Works well in Home Assistant using ZHA. Luckily, you can set the closing/opening limits from the unit itself without the need to install any of their spyware apps.

If you have slippage, light sanding of the rod solved the problem.

In my case, I used a 1-inch gas pipe due to the length of the curtain. Worked great!

I hope they expose more functionality to ZHA in the near future.

I had feared that it wouldn't work with my rail.
But it works, and better than expected.
It actually moves two curtains, a large balcony window with a width of 3 metres, with two curtains (heavy fabric) that are 2.50 metres high. They can actually be pushed or pulled individually. But I hung them together because you have to pull them from left to right.
And it can do that, you can hear it applying a lot of force, but it finds the desired position for closing and opening and does it brilliantly.

Remember you HAVE to buy the Hub E1 with it.
Also, the rod (tube) has to be only one. Cannot have any attachment, you know, sometimes is not long enough and there is a second tube, a little less thick that goes inside the first one… that cannot be used if you planing to have this curtains opener.

Aqara offers the best curtain motor on the market currently. This smart device works well with Smart Things and routines can be set up easily. Integrates well with Google Home too. Recommended.

The product works well with large curtains if there is low friction on the rod. The minimum rod size and inability to traverse stepped rods is a bit of a drawback. Overall very happy with the performance and long battery life.

At first, I was sent a defective one which was not able to set travel distance using the Aqara app, I contacted Aqara and they sent me a replacement which is now working fine. Siri integration is excellent. Therefore, I recommend it to anyone whose plan is to automate their curtains. NB: Requires Aqara Hub to function.
