Aqara Warranty Policy

This warranty is given to Aqara products sold by Aqara online store only. If you purchase an Aqara product from an authorized reseller, the item is subject to the particular warranty policy stated by that reseller.

DO NOT USE YOUR PRODUCTS UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE TERMS OF THE WARRANTY.

All Aqara products purchased on eu.aqara.com come with a limited warranty, as shown below. BY USING AQARA PRODUCTS, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THE AQARA LIMITED WARRANTY.

We provide a limited warranty for purchases on eu.aqara.com. The warranty period starts when the original purchaser receives the products.

If you need to file a claim under this Limited Warranty, please contact Aqara Customer Service to submit a service request. This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original consumer purchaser.

2. Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not apply:

  • Non-quality related issues;
  • Items purchased from sources other than eu.aqara.com;
  • Purchases without valid proof of purchase;
  • Items that have been refunded;
  • Items that have expired their warranty period;
  • Any defects or damages caused by misuse of products, unauthorized modification, dis-assembly or operation not in accordance with the official instructions or manuals;
  • Any defects or damages caused by exposure to excessive heat, liquids or other external causes;
  • Any defects or damages caused by reliability or compatibility issues when using unauthorized third-party parts;
  • Lost or stolen products;
  • Free products (promotional products or gifts are also included).

3. Cross-Regional After-Sales Service Restrictions

The products available for purchase on this website are manufactured in accordance with U.S. (or other countries/regions corresponding to the order) regulations and are intended solely for use within the United States(or other countries/regions corresponding to the order) and We do not recommend, nor do we support, the purchase and shipment of these products to regions outside the order original countries/regions. If the product is transported and used outside the original country/region of the order, any quality issues or malfunctions arising from such use will not be covered by this warranty.

Aqara does not provide a global product warranty. Aqara will cover the shipping costs within the USA (or other countries/regions corresponding to the order) for repairing or replacing the item(s). For all other locations, Aqara will not be liable for the shipping, customs clearance or any other related charges. The customer will need to bear customs duties, taxes, customs clearance, and other costs incurred for a cross-regional repair, regardless of whether it is the warranty or paid repair service.

A cross-regional replacement service is not available for different versions of the same product.

4. Making a Warranty Claim

Any warranty claims require reasonable evidence, including the order receipt.

Aqara reserves the right to conduct a reasonable investigation to determine the cause of any defects.

Process

If you need to file a claim under this Limited Warranty, please contact Aqara Customer Service (contact@aqara.com) to submit a service request.

For a Limited Warranty claim to be processed, it must include:

(i) proof of ownership of your Aqara product;

(ii)your Aqara’s model number and serial number;

(iii)a description of the alleged defect(s).

Valid Proof of Purchase

  • A purchase order number made through eu.aqara.com;
  • Sales invoice or order confirmation email that clearly shows the description of the product, its price, and sales channel.

You may also be required to return your existing device following directions provided by Aqara. Any claim under this Limited Warranty must be submitted to Aqara before the end of the warranty period described above. Please allow up to seven (7) business days for your warranty request to be processed.

5. Warranty Solutions

Aqara may, at its sole discretion, make any repair or replacement with new or refurbished product or components. If the product or component requiring repair or replacement is no longer available, Aqara may, at its sole discretion, replace such product with a similar product of similar function.

Warranties on all replacements follow the same warranty timeframe of the original defective item, or 3 months after being replaced, whichever is longer. Warranties on products are void after having been fully refunded.

Some specific products that are out of warranty may also be eligible for paid repair services. For a list of products that can be repaired and their corresponding repair costs, please contact contact@aqara.com to obtain the relevant information.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR THAT THE PRODUCTS ARE FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE, AND SPECIFICALLY IN LIEU OF ALL SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. IF AQARA LLC CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY AND TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG A STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SHALL BE THE SOLE REMEDY OF THE CUSTOMER, AND AQARA LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY LOSS OF BUSINESS OR PROFITS, WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

This limited warranty gives you specific rights. You may have additional rights under applicable law, and this limited warranty does not affect such rights.

 

Notes: Aqara has the right to unilaterally modify this policy or the above content when necessary. If you continue to use the service after the relevant content is changed, it will be deemed that you have accepted the modified relevant content. If you do not accept the modified relevant content, you should stop using the relevant service.
