J’utilise pour distribuer des graines de nourriture à mes carpes koi. L’installation via app est hyper facile, je place l’appareil dans le jardin a 5m de la maison.
Avec l’app on peut programmer le grammage de la distribution ainsi que les heures.
J’utilise des piles pour le faire fonctionner. Elles durent plus d’un mois, parfait pour une absence prolongée.
Attention pour une utilisation extérieure : le proteger de la pluie.

I had to buy an aqara g3 camera hub for the c1 cat feeder to work and initially it seemed like an over expensive product but the performance of having the aqara ecosystem is well worth it.

June 2023 edit: There's now been a Zigbee2MQTT update that fixes most of the issues I noted below. The clock is now in my local time and the default button to feed in Home Assistant works (little awkwardly, using a dropdown instead of a button but that's fine). Also the schedule shows in the settings normally! I updated to five stars.

There are three ways you can set this thing up
1. Aqara Hub + Aqara app to manage feeding schedules. Easiest out of the box solution. This is what the instructions say and what it pretends to only support. Depends on the cloud which is a non-starter for me
2. ZHA with a Zigbee dongle in Home Assistant, managing feeding schedules through normal HA automations. This is what most reviewers seem to be opting for. This is not my method because 1) I have opted for Zigbee2MQTT over ZHA and MOST IMPORTANTLY 2) This method means the feeding is directly dependent on Home Assistant being available. This is what I normally do for other devices but I really don't like the idea of my cat being hungry because my server is down or the automation bugged out. Other reviews have stated that it's not possible at this time to publish the schedule to the feeder through ZHA and have it work on its own. Hopefully there's an update in the future to fix that.
3. Zigbee2MQTT with a Zigbee dongle linked to Home Assistant. This is my method, and I chose it because I already use Z2M, but most importantly because as stated in option 2, the feeding schedule will continue working if my HA is down because the schedule is a state that is saved to the feeder itself. Z2M supports publishing a new schedule to it unlike ZHA (at the time of this review). My review is based on this method since I know many others use it too.

For the janky stuff:
* [Fixed in June 2023] The internal clock is in UTC. You need to account for this when creating the schedule. It seems that using the Aqara Hub method lets you change the time zone, but at this time Z2M does not. No review states this so I only found out after thinking the schedule wasn't working but my cat had actually already eaten :) this isn't a huge deal except that the "portions per day" and "weight per day" sensors reset at midnight, which for me in EST is actually 8pm. Minor annoyance as it means those stats are mostly useless if I want to graph them in Home Assistant
* [Fixed in June 2023] In Z2M, the manual "feed: START" button is a button, but in HA it's a "selector" drop down with only "START" as a default option, so it doesn't do anything. I can't access Z2M from outside my house at this time without a VPN so out of the box I can't start a manual feeding from HA. I had to instead make a script in HA which sends the {"feed": "START"} payload to MQTT, and then in a dashboard I made a button to activate that script. Now it works! (screenshots attached)
* Because HA is just reading the "schedule" from MQTT, it just shows up as one big JSON blurb instead of a concise schedule
* [Fixed in June 2023] The schedule in Z2M shows as multiple blank feedings until you look at the state which actually describes them. You have to use the state to know which blank feeding is which.

The product is very nice and it helped calming down my cat in the morning when she used to wake me up for food hahaha

Super! livraison rapide, facile à intégré et configurer à l'aide Home assistant.

My dog, loves this product she now waits Next to the machine to be fed and goes running to the machine when she hears it dispensing.

I love that I was finally able to find a cat feeder that doesn't need a cloud connection. It's been super reliable, and setting the schedule has been very easy.

It works with my system, which is based Homeseer with the Zigbee Plus plug-in and the Sonoff ZBDongle-E. I did not need an Aqara hub at any point. After the feeder is added to my system, all other Aqara setup instructions apply, like calibrating the portion size, setting up audio alerts, etc. 10/10 would recommend.

We hebben deze Aqara voerautomaat aangeschaft om onze poes 's ochtends vroeg automatisch te voeren tijdens onze vakantie. 's Avonds zorgen de buren voor eten en aandacht, dus dit was de perfecte aanvulling. In het begin had ik wat twijfels of alles betrouwbaar zou werken, daarom heb ik de Aqara Camera Hub G3 erop gericht om alles op afstand te kunnen controleren – en dat werkte uitstekend. De hub is trouwens noodzakelijk om de voerautomaat te programmeren en op afstand te bedienen. De hoeveelheid brokjes is heel eenvoudig en precies in te stellen, precies wat je nodig hebt. Er is ook ruimte voor noodstroombatterijen (die ik niet heb gebruikt, dus niet getest). Kortom: hij heeft perfect gefunctioneerd tijdens onze hele vakantie. Onze poes was blij en wij hadden volledige gemoedsrust. Aanrader voor elke kattenbaasje!

Se configure et se connecte très rapidement au réseau. La clef rejoint facilement à Apple home kit et peut se connecter à d’autres protocoles. Bonne alternative au M3

Sehr lange schon in Betrieb. Unsere Katze ist sehr zufrieden. Der Futterautomat ist sehr zuverlassig. Wenn das Futter in die Aluschale fällt so höhrt die Katze das und rennt zum Futterautomt .Gut dossierbar ,große Füllmenge.

Really great product, and integrated seamlessly with my Home Assistant smart universe (using Zigbee2MQTT) with just a push of a button. I had to run food through it a couple of times to make sure the silicone blades were working properly and not getting stuck. The measurements are reliably equal between feeds, and it's been working fine since day one. Can't comment about the app as I don't use it alongside HA, but all in all it does what it says on the tin.

I love this feeder so much I anchored it to the wall. (My cats kept tipping it over when it was low on food). I wish Aqara would make an updated version of this feeder with Apple Home/Matter compatibility so I don't have to use the Aqara app every time I want to feed my cats off schedule. I do have it connected to one of Aqara's mini switches so it'll feed them a "snack" to lure them back to my room at night. I also wish Aqara would make one with a larger tank so I can put more food in it.

I love this product, probably not as much as my cats though. Peace of mind that the cats can have food even when no one is home. Make sure you have an Aqara hub and you’re good to go!

Einfach Klasse

I can't purport to utilising all the features with this yet but am very satisfied with how well it works with home assistant. It paired with my sonoff zigbee usb immediately and I got it set up quicky and (somewhat) intuitively via zigbee2mqtt. Have been using it for a few months now.

Love this thing. Works perfectly w/Home Assistant via zigbee2mqtt. Has never gone offline or missed a feeding in 2.5 years.

Bisher einfach fantastisch. Stromversorgung läuft über PoE, Home Assistant Integration funktioniert und es ist leise genug, daß mein Kater sich nicht in die Hosen macht und wegrennt. Ich hoffe der Spender hält ne Weile!

Prodotto eccellente, consigliatissimo

Der Futterautomat ist bei uns seit Februar im Einsatz und arbeitete tadellos. Über Zigbee haben wir ihn im Home Assistant eingebunden und füttern damit unseren Kater, wenn niemand zu Hause ist. Einen Test mittels einer anderen App habe ich nicht durchgeführt.

Der Futterautomat ist leicht zu reinigen und ist absolut zuverlässig. Klare Kaufempfehlung

Reconnu sans pb dans home assitant / mqtt

Dieser Futterautomat ist eine echte Erleichterung! Die App-Steuerung funktioniert super, sodass ich auch unterwegs Fütterungen planen oder spontan Futter ausgeben kann.

Das große Fassungsvermögen reicht locker für mehrere Tage. Die Reinigung ist einfach, da sich Schale, Tank und Spenderrad leicht entfernen lassen. Auch die Notstromversorgung mit Batterien gibt ein sicheres Gefühl, falls mal der Strom ausfällt.

Ein richtig durchdachtes Gerät, das mir den Alltag erleichtert und meinem Hund regelmäßige Mahlzeiten sichert. Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle Haustierbesitzer!

İhtiyaçlarımı tam anlamıyla karşıladı. İlla fişe takmaya da gerek yok pille de çalışabilmesi büyük avantaj. Satıcıdan da birçok aqara ürünü aldım, hiçbir sorun yaşamadım.
